Which is the worse horror story - Spurs or Chelsea as champions?
Not sure why this is even being asked. As West Ham fans we have already got over the shitty situation of Chelsea winning it. Them winning it is now accepted and, to be fair, quite bearable for me.

Spurs on the other hand..........

Well NS doesn't give a fuck about either team, so pretty much everybody except him.

Anyone who is my age doesn't really like spurs as we had to put up with so much shit at school but then came along 1964/65/66 just to make things better :-)

Feck spurs !

Whats worse, FMOB!

How about the fact, compared to either of them or Arsenal we are pretty shit even in a good season, well what we seem to think is ok like last season, finishing what 8th? but still crashing out of the Europa cup before the group stages had begun, cant even remember how we fared in the domestic cups, half decent run in the league cup i think, but hardly a standout.

Sad that our cup final is Spurs at home and stopping them in there slim hope of the title, pathetic really isnt it.............still hope we beat them but FFS.

the cunts showed themselves up at the weekend surrounding and racially abusing Robbie off arsenal fan tv. everyone knows he's no problem but what do you expect from the sort of cunts who put their own fans in hospital. I fucking loathe every one of the cunts

Sky put up a table from the beginning of last season til now and Spurs were top having won 42 of 72 games and scored 140 goals on a net spend of £7m.
The good news is that they look likely to win the title in neither season.
GUTTED?

Bloody hate the Yids, spent most of the season, getting the big calls like Leicester did last year. They also need to blood test them, there whole team must be on the marching power, they don't stop running/chasing down.

Tell you the truth modern football is wank, so I figured well Spurs wining would be something different.

However after listening to 606 on Saturday, and to be fair most Spurs fans that called in were happy and measured, apart from the one arse who talked about the power of North London shifting (call Ghost Busters) and banged on.

Kind of made me release why I hate there fans.

Neither of those clubs winning the PL would be a horror story to me. Hopefully London clubs will monopolise the PL winners rostrum for many years and deprive the mancs and merseysiders from getting a look in.

Chelsea, simply because they've done it several times and a Spurs league win just make our current plight even harder to swallow when 15 years ago we were comparatively close and 25 years ago the same with Chelsea.

We should have matained pace with Spurs as we're not miles apart in terms of support domestically, but they're run so, so well they're light years ahead of us. The emergence of Chelsea in the mid to late 90s saw them pull away from us and Spurs before the oligarch appeared, but we always stumble and fall the moment we look as if we're making progress. It's fucking dire that we haven't won a trophy in 37 years and we're not a small club, just have continuously small time spiv owners.

We're West Ham United, we're run a badly run club...

Growing up in Walthamstow, mainly being surrounded by these fuckers, even being able to see their floodlights from the end of my road, gave me a loathing of them from a very early age.

Even though the title is probably done, let's hope we put in an obscene amount of effort on Friday, as Fergie would say.

Re: Which is the worse horror story - Spurs or Chelsea as champions?
Spurs have a great team and are a well run club, but it's all about the fans on this:

Spurs would be fucking unbearable. They're the most arsehole, bully, fickle, deluded fan base anyway, everything's always hyped up about them, they've been 'on the verge of greatness' according to their fans for decades, when winning nothing.

Chelsea are more easily ignored. Quite a few of their old school fans where I live, and in Wandsworth/Battersea where I spend a lot of time, can have a decent chat and banter and not go overboard.
